Just got her back from the tech as I had to swap out the Dimarzio FastTracks for a set of vintage 50s Start style pickups! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Thanks, Chuckles!

Johnny, she is about an average Strat or Tele weight. Not heavy not light.

The odd thing is the design. Long exposed neck on a short body with a strap lock on the upper horn. Just taking an adjustment.

I didn't notice that, it looks barely attached, so no heel to get in the way. Plenty of room in the upper register. Is it set or bolt on?

Very nice.

The counter sunk straplocks is a nice little touch.

Jack - good eye. Indeed they are countersunk straplocks. I kinda missed the standards until I started working the upper register and then holy googly moogly the design which seemed to fight against me a tiny bit in the open position was helping me a tiny bit in 12+ position (think Bobby's Chinacat pattern)

Dude - very nice looking guitar! Cmon don't be shy about taking up the bandwidth - post some more pics of that thing so we can check it out. We don't often get to see this stuff at this level of detail!

On a related note - what's the deal with modulus guitars ? Seems like there are plenty of modulus basses available - eBay and even craigs list - but modulus 6 string guitars seem to be way more of a rare commodity. I will need to check out more of the modulus guitar discussion on this board but would love to know why they seem so elusive on the marketplace.

Qubee - I love the neck but it's not for everyone. They say compound which makes most folks think something like 7.5 - 16 but I'm guessing more like 10 or 12 to 16. I love a flat 16 all the way up but I find the curve at first frets feels cool too!

Here is another pic. I've gotta get more with the new pickups!
