Gang, I know this is a pedestrian question to most but here we go....

I am looking to sell my 11R but pondering the FC300 controller sale. They don't make it any more and I found it to be so easy to setup/use/etc.

Plus I imagine it'll control my GCX. But I'm afraid of jacking things up.

Is it really as simple as:
Set the FC300 to transmit on 16
Set 8 buttons to manage cc's 80-87 (loops 1 - 8 respectively) 0 = off , 127 = on?

Can I screw up the GCX but sending something wrong?!

Strummin,

I think doing exactly what you just said will work just fine, and no you wont screw up the gcx.......they are just 0's and 1's .....

Any midi controller can control the gcx, the trick is just making them talk, but you wont screw it up by trying to make them talk, the worst that can happen is they wont talk.
