f spaced are for guitars with tremolos like the stratocaster. i believe the f is for fender.

I never could figure out much difference either so I just got the regular spaced, and worked fine with my warmoth.

F-Spaced Bridge pickups have a wider pole spacing, and were produced for guitars with Floating tremolos (Floyd Rose, Wilkinsons) which have a wider string spacing at the bridge. So the bridge pickup would be F-Spaced so the strings would be centered over the pole-pieces--otherwise they'd be outside the pole-pieces of a normally spaced pickup. If you're using a standard bridge, you probably don't need F-Spaced, but some guys still like having it.

+1.

I, too, made this mistake--Super IIs in an MC300--and it's like Chris said: thin, thin, thin. I'm not happy with them at all. By contrast, I have an old Ibanez Studio with their late 70s V2 pickups, which are alledged to be Super Distortion knockoffs, and it sounds way better--fuller and more Jerry-ish. I'm going to pull the Super IIs from the MC300 as soon as I get the time.

I do wonder why the Super IIs sound so bad in these guitars. Not enough Cocobolo, perhaps.

What do you mean? the super distortions and super II's are different pikups. You will be able to use the super II's they're bright high output pkups, use your amp and tone to tame it. I can't imagine it being that much different, but I haven't owned an MC 300 so I can't say for sure.... If that is the case, you may want to put them in another guitar.. Its a super II in the middle is what you want, anywhere else I can see them being too bright.

I mean that i should have waited for this generous forum's response to putting super 2's in an MC300 before pulling the triger and buying super 2's on ebay. I didn't know that avitar would have middle fingers pointed out, i thought it was fire, anger directed to myself......i mean how could the same pickup sound thin and so off, the mc300 is very similar to the tiger,
