I am picking up a twin reverb II for a song later this week. The reverb doesn't work but for the price, it would be worth it to fix. I have a friend of offered to trade me his silverface working twin for this once I get it. Not playing the amp yet I'm not sure if I should go for it or not, so I wonder if anyone has any opinions on this or not.

trade it once i get it? the reverb II is a no brainer, and I am picking it up tomorrow. It does have black widows in it (though no idea which ones) if i trade I am keeping them (my friend is ok with that)

I'll probably trade him since he was the one who sent it to me from a listing on craigslist, and said if i buy it, he'd trade me.

it is only $300 so it is a bit too good to pass up at any rate.
