I am in the planning stages for my next guitar and I am going to use a graphite neck or hybrid not sure. I was wondering, the modulus site didn't speak of guitar necks,(only basses) I suppose you have to ask them to have it custom made?? if so does anyone know what kind of change they are asking for such an animal?

On another note, I noticed these guys while surfing around, and wondered if anyone has any inside info on these necks by Moses... Thanks, JB

I'm currently working with the designer of the pointy tip Modulus necks on the first prototype neck. The only difference is that these necks will be built like my Blue guitar. It will be graphite on the back and a T-rod that runs through the neck. Rigid necks with a whole lot better sustain then all graphite.

I wouldnt know what to say about a graphite neck, but if it's anything like a graphite pool cue it may have a "tink" in it when force is applied, but maybe wouldnt make its way through the cable

Those Moses necks are very nice. Strumminsix has one on his Bobby guitar and it is very smooth. I only held it once but it was just fine. I did get a quote from Moses to build a Modulus pointy tip copy, they would build it out of there 24 fret baritone neck for around 425. Dozin contact me when you know more about your project, I would love to have a new neck.

I think I like the sound of Dozin's/ Modulus hybrid situation. Sustain is important too! I would like to do a neck through (if possible) and I am sure if it is wood around graphite it will bond/glue better.
