Still never heard a good reason why the two bands never did a show together.... Man that would be enough for me for a life time, but anyway here is a Gilmore Goodie for those that want to bid.... I got to play one and it is WELL WORTH it if you like strat's and Dave's tone. I was bidding on it till it got out of my reach financially....Its an authentic Fender custom shop ....

I would think so too, I am pretty sure Dave's tech wrote a 500 page novel about the guitar, leave it to the Brittish to not be at a loss for words about a guitar...I think River Rat may know a little more about it too.....

Interestingly, the XLR was part of Gilmour's attempt to create his own version of an OBEL. It didn't work quite as well for him.
