I know there have been several threads on neck pickups- the SDS (which some people loved, and some people, like myself, could not stand)- and Brad's experiments with unwinding coils on the same pickup.
Lately I've been happy with a Gibson Vintage p-90 at the neck. But I have a couple of guitars with a humbucker route at the neck. Any thoughts (or has anyone tried?) a split SD2 at the neck? Seems like that just might work-
