Ben sided with Smoche... One minute Smoche told Ben he could have the island and then 10 minutes later Smoche said he is going to destroy the island... Hello!

Fucking Ben. Really, dude, really. I can see killing Widmore but not siding with Smocke.

I thought it was cool that Jack volunteered. I wouldn't have liked Jack being chosen but volunteering, yes.

Ben is a douche, and has been since day one. no surprise there.

I am disappointed Richard is likely dead. Also I am totally disappointed this is all over that damn light in a cave which is just in the middle of the island, yet no one else can find it.

kinda weak if you ask me.

I am also disappointed that image didn't come up. I'll see if i can find it again.

I think you are right, in the sideways flash he has found his family, somehow this wikll motivate him to kill smocke...
I knew it would be Jack, he was the first hero, and fittingly(sic) the last.

But really I am just pissed the finale is on a Sunday, it won't even be dark out, I like movie theatre darkness when viewing, off to target for curtains and curtain rods, now what to do with the kid?

I'll be on vacation when it airs, so I likely won't see it till i get back. mixed feelings there, I want to go on vacation, but damn it, i need to see lost

Not sure but the 7 pm EST might be a " pre-view " show with the cast and fans.

There are a couple schools of thought here. The prevailing one seems to be that they DID NOT all die in the plane crash. Everything that happened was real up to the "flash sideways" world. All the losties died at different times, but needed to remember their deaths to be able to "go on" . The flash sideways world was like a purgatory ( although the connotation does not entirely fit and I dont like the term, but it works as a way to start to understand what was going on there).
There is obviously A LOT more to it than that, but that seems to be what the writers were trying to get across.

Bottom line though, there was a Dharma initiative and an Oceanic 6 and all that stuff.

Ben did not enter the church because he had not died yet.

Mostly Right. I'm calling it their first step in an after-life. I think Ben is still resolving his issues.

Similar to Jack's created son resolving his daddy issues.

I think everything happened and alot more. I don't think the flash sideways was indicative of a stopping point.

Plus we know some time has passed while Hurley protected the island via his convo with Ben "you were a good #2, you were a good #1"
