I thought this was super cool:

IF YOU LOST GEAR IN THE NASHVILLE FLOOD...

At Soloway Guitars, we've made a point of trying to offer help when help is needed. We've raised money for victims of the Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the global food shortage and most recently, the earthquake in Haiti. Now, after the recent floods in Nashville, those needing help are no longer faceless strangers, but rather friends and fellow members of the guitar community. The photos of drenched and ruined instruments has been heart breaking. Yes, these are just "things" and may pale in comparison to the wrecked lives caused by the earthquake in Haiti, but they are also the tools used to create the music the brings all of us so much joy.

We're a small company and there's a limit to what we can do to help, but I do feel that there is a need for us to at least make an effort, so here's the deal ....

If you lost a guitar in the flood, take a look at what what we have on our "Guitars In Stock" and our "Coming Soon" pages. If you see a guitar that you think might help you get over on of the guitars you lost and get you back to work, give me a call and you can buy it for 20% off the listed price. I'll even pay the cost of shipping it to you. It's not going to replace the favorite guitar that's been destroyed, but at least it may help you get back to making music.

Like I said, we're a small company and I can't afford to keep this offer running for ever, but at least for now it's the least I can do to help some fellow pickers in need.
