.... oh .... and btw .... I do think the Fender NO load pot I put as the master TONE ctrl (mid knob) is contributing to this really clean unadulterated single coil tone. I leave it on 10 (bypass) all the time .... ya know at that point I don't even know why I bothered putting a tone knob in

I really went the minimalist route in getting from the PUs to the amp ... anything that can get in the way has been TB'd.

FYI .... I'm currently playing mostly BOBBY parts. I know there's tons of conversation about his effecting but I'm using this rig - staying clean, glassy, and very organic (in a fender tube amp sort of way) and going for that classic rhythmic & melodic chordal movement that gives the boy's their swing - at least the more seventies swing that is way more attainable given my setup.

Regarding the no-load pot - on my P-bass I used a push/pull pot for my tone knob, wired so that when it's pulled out the signal bypasses both pots and goes straight to the output. It gets slightly but noticeably brighter and louder than when both pots are on 10. Sounds like your setup is similar?

I'm telling ya! I love the no-load pot on my Tele!!!

I can cop a sweet Bobby 70s tone on a Tele and Pro Jr like nobody's business.

Some days I think about selling an amp buying 2 new PJ's and just go for a super mini wall of sound!
