I just saw allman brothers live for the first time the first weekend and I was really blown away. I feel that jam music is more alive and fresh in that band right now than anything I've seen lately (except certain dead shows from last year). The interplay between their drummers is a whole different thing entirely. I really need to figure out where I can some recent live shows! What's their policy on sharing and is there anywhere to download live shows?

I, too, love the ABB. They have been doing the "instant" live for some time and at their site, you can buy just about any show from the last 15 years. They also have vault recordings just like the Dead that they have released as well. They don't like people swapping their instant live shows (that doesn't stop folks much) but they don't mind people sharing audience recordings at all. They have a website forum (http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/) that has a trading site and folks are almost as nice as the ones on here! Hope that helps!
