I just started messing around with the Pigtronix Envelope Phaser. I got to mess around with this pedal board from the video. ( that was a trip in itself). I took a EP2 home with me and I am now experimenting. (man, that is fun!) I am evaluating it to see if I want to become a dealer. I cant take on too many products as I am certainly no guitar center. So far, I have to say two thumbs up. I wont be able to use it in a real band situation until Wednesday.

I like the new look! The old Pigtronix styling had a cheap crappy 80's look imho, belying how good their effects are. It is not a replacement for any of the Envelope Filters though-it's an envelope controlled phaser.

I might as well mention that I am currently part-timing at a pedal builder called Subdecay Studios, helping to build a pretty cool little pedal, just launched last Monday, that combines a pretty great envelope filter with a switchable random sample hold feature, called the Proteus. Move over!

Yes it can for sure.

I just finished trying it with single coils and humbuckers. Both are excellent but I am still playing. Thats all i have time to mess around for now.

It would be great if it could, and I'm sure it can dial in some jerry tones. But Jerry or not, That's a cool pedal. What makes it unique from the other all in ones is the blending and switching. Finally someone figured that out!! It sucks when you can only use one option at a time and not have real time switching. Good find!! What are the retails on those?

That sounds even more usable, for what I have going on. I Hate trying to find those other Qtron+ sounds, and it has about 5 I use at different times. But, searching for them is a pain. EHX has added the press/hold function to all their new stuff, I am sure the Qtron is next, but you never know. That's an idea I wonder took this long to figure out. The technology has been around a few years.... Do you have a link to the proteus pedal your working with TS? Both of these pedals mentioned have good promise.
