So some really good things happened at the show today.

As many of you know I am a guitar dealer. One good thing that happened today is that I will be able to resell guitars for Ressurection. That means I get them at a wholesale level!!!

As we were talking about me getting his guitars for resale, I asked him about what warranty I can offer my clients. He said something pretty funny. He told me they all come with a lifetime warranty. Pat's lifetime that is!

Here is the one I picked up today. It is an unbelievable player. It is a Sassafras body, through neck (Maple) Cocobolo fretboard, kinman pickups. I dont have all the specs but Pat is going to fax me all the details.

Sassafras? Wow I didn't think it grew that big. Biggest I've ever seen was probably a 3" trunk. Looks like a honey!

I'm not exactly sure what type of sassafras this is. I wont know until sometime next week.

Made it to the Newport Guitar Festival today, met Pat from Resurrection, super good guy. Saw the Rosebud Tiger, saw the Wolf, I didn't pick them up to play as I had already fallen in love with about a dozen other guitars at this point. Really a nice show, luthiers were awesome to meet and talk to. Will be meeting with Pat or one of the many other talented guys I met today soon to discuss options of building a custom axe.

I spent the whole day playing that strat today with only a short break. I had a blast. I have bonded with it but in my business that is not a good thing! Normally I am a Les Paul guy but I do play an srv strat that I am sure I will sell now! I have band practice on Wednesday night and I will surely play it all night, along with a new pigtronix ep2. I cant wait!!

BTW, no one noticed the 58 custom shop warren haynes les paul hanging next to the resurrection? I had to put on those white knurled knobs because I sweat so much when I play I cant turn the LP standard knobs!
