I watch Ebay all the time and had I seen that I would have bought it. I almost bought one just like it for 1000 over the winter but I didnt act fast enough.

That's incredible that it was around for that long... at that price! It just goes to show you that if you watch and wait long enough something will get posted. I was looking for this for a long time... finally I broke down and had this built (by Carvin). The guy's listing is absolutely correct- it would have cost over $1400 to have that built. The body wood looks like the standard Alder body which is the only thing I may have done differently. Also, I opted against dual HB config with the Actives and instead went with a H-S-H configuration with coil spilts and phase switch.

All that said, that is on great guitar for nearly half the factory cost! A steal.
