No problem... the pink shirt! It must have been Phil's pink period because it sure looks like he has pink, long 70's collared shirt under his sweater! Gotta love those Bass Faces he's making in that vid too.

I'm thinking maybe the video and pic were the same day... like he took the sweater off for the pic. They weren't really a collared-shirt-and-sweater kind of band, normally.


I was thinking about leaving the output in the stock Gibson location, but that video makes me think I really have to have that big thick connector on the side by the strap. It's just not the same bass without it. Even if I do have a 1/4" output, I'll build a cord with a 90* speaker-cable end on it.

It was on a friend's fridge, all messed up, covered in maple syrup and partly crinkled, so I borrowed it and scanned it and cleaned it up a bit and sent it off to Blair for his book. I have been trying to find out who SA Diesel was and my friend has no idea where he got it or when. So, now it's running around the net! I tried to get the color as true as possible without any reference, so if it looks a little different from the video, that's probably my doing.

I won't be at the Boulder Theater on Friday. I wasn't even aware it was happening! My life is crazy with school and that night there are a bunch things going on. Maybe I'll come down later and see if I can talk my way in toward the end of the show.

You can still see some of the maple syrup if you look carefully to the right of the microphone. I got a little lazy after a while!
