Amen, Tiger!

I'm friends with lots of republicans...more democrats, but still. Lot's of them. I'm close to a few of them, so we talk polotics sometime.

Some of my friends who at first seem like the most hardcore Republicans absolutely despise what's happening in our Government.

But to look at it in a happier way, let's just keep on thinking back to what Steven Colbert said while roasting Bush at a presidential dinner

"if you have a 32% approval rating, it just means 68% of the people APPROVE of what you're NOT doing."

Any real Republican will hate over 60% of what this administration is doing:

+ out of control spending
+ poor borders enforcement
+ federal education (no child left behind took it out of the states' hands)
+ using "eminent domain" to sell to big developers
+ increasing the size of federal gov't
+ adding more departments to the federal gov't

These are just off the top of my head.


Back to Ann... Her being a deadhead has been well known for years. She's had a picture up on her website with her in front of the late 80s European trou street poster for a while and I saw many years back.

If you realize, it is not her bringing it up it is the people interviewing her. IMO, it appears to be the journalists technique trying to get to the "personal side" of the interviewee.
