Be Respectful of others when posting: There is a lot of leeway of what is acceptable here, but, your point should be able to be made without humiliating, hateful words, witch-hunts, ganging up, bullying, name calling, threats, or violence. Just recieved this today and am floored, even though I've heard it many times. This is a favorite period of mine. Simply incredible playing and unbound energy. Anyone else get it?
My Buddy just loaned me his copy and I've listened to the first disc about 12 times but haven't heard the 2nd yet...the NFA is pretty sick. I'm expecting the DS>El Paso to be good too. I keep forgetting to change the disc outta my car so I can hear the next one!
The Dark Sar>El Paso>post- El Pasolyptic meltdown is pretty cool, but this release is all about the NFA>GDTRFB>NFA, IMHO. Worth the price of admission alone. I just love that a lot of the themes touched on by both those jams are also on Dick Picks 2 from 10-31-71...also a big favorite of mine.
