Yhea!! that's the one I was talking about. There is another of bob at Radio city spraying the hell out of his acoustic. I guess guitars are replaceable. Jerry's nose looks weird in the "shot of the can" vid.

I've had good luck with the finger ease spray. Unfortunately, there's no way these days to carry it on a plane. (The TSA tends to snatch it out of checked bags, too.) I've been using the John Pearse string swipes (and changing strings often) when I fly, which works out ok,but I get a lot more life out of a set of strings with the spray. About 15 years back, I found a yellow Fender-type cloth that had string cleaner/lubricant built in. It worked great and lasted a few years. When I went back to the store to replace it, it was nowhere to be found. If anybody runs across something like this, let me know.

If you look at any picture of Phils left arm wristband it is positioned up where the arm rubs against the guitar body. When I play gigs on acoustic guitar or octave mandolin I get burns in the same spot unless I wear one, and I don't like the way the wristband looks but it is better than long sleeves. Strangely I don't have this problem when I play bass ..oh well.
