That is my gigging (pre)amp exactly (since late 2005), minus the grillcloth tear on mine. As far as "AB763", iirc the model actually began with the AA568 circuit, and later was reverted back to BF for awhile- however, many of these amps have been BF-ized, as was mine before I bought it. The Vibrato Pedal jack with the grey cable coming off of it is where I took out the RCA jack, put in a 1/4"" jack, and tapped the post-reverb signal for my preamp out. Too bad there are no inside chassis shots...

It's exactly the same as a Dual Showman Reverb, but this earliest batch didn't have the word "Dual" on the front panel. Almost double the height of a non-reverb Showman/Dual Showman head.

The price is way high imho. I believe PeteB. just bought one for around... 650 was it?

$1000 is a bit high for the current market. I bought mine for that amount shipped about 4 years back and it was a fair price back then to me.

But it's all about the individual. The "big iron" amps started getting the CBS changes sooner than say the Princeton which didn't see them til mid 70s.

So a 1968 is the closest you'll get to BF for that size of an amp.

Mine is a 1970 (non-master-volume) and it was $575 a coupla months ago.
I think the drip edge models bring a bit more than that.
A guy offered me $750 for mine... I'm guessing ~$750 is probably the median price on these, +/- ~$200.
I don't think $999 is totally out to lunch if that is an item you really want.

My '68 was abt $725 shipped, 4 1/2 years ago. I wish I had found a non-drip edge closer to your price! I mean really- who cares that much about a few thin strips of aluminum?
