Well latlely I have been playing more JGB and 80s GD and yesterday pulled out the midi rig and it really sounds authentic to Jerrys late 80s early 90s rig. I ran;

I tried mixing in the Trio rig, it sounded like the midi was taking away from the base tone no matter what I did. I plunked around on it but had trouble using the mix guitar/synth but the sound were there. I actually had to turn off the top rack to get the "good" tone back. The synth sounds were really close but its been a long time since I used this extra rig. Im trying to post samples. I will work on that and then hopefully get some feedback. I know many of you dont like those tones but Im working with the gear I have to see what goes and stays. Any suggestions about how to run this stuff more efficiently is always helpful.
