Hey guys anybody have any experience with these pick-ups,
They are installed in frankenStrat, I might buy.
Not looking for an exact Jerry match in sound, but hey wouldn't mind.
I want just a good clean sound.

I'm pretty sure that the JB stands for jazz and blues, not Jeff Beck even though he uses the single soil size, the pickups started out as humbuckers.

Having said that, I think that guitar is going to have a very hot output. Might be nice if you could split the bridge coils also.

I just replaced my Strat pickups with DiaMarrio area '58's on the neck and middle and a area '61 (a little more sensitive) on the bridge. They are humbucker single sized. I am enjoying a clean, old school strat sound without all the single coil fuzz mess. I love them. I am not sure about the one's you are speaking of. Jerry stood by DiaMarrio's, switching them out frequently, but always DiaMarrio. I do know you get what you pay for when it comes to pick ups. The Fender line isn't that bad either (texas Heat i think). I'll ask around to see if anyone I know has used them.
