I dont' care about who kate chooses.It's obvious not that Syiad is not jacob. Why did Jaboc want them to save Syiad? What is going in with Richard and Smokey?

last nights episode was full of more "reveals" than most season finales.........

Jedi, your theory about sawyer and jack (or the other names not already crossed out: hurley, or Jin, or Sun, or Sayeed) could be right on the money, although I would tend to think that the setup would be Sawyer and Jack as you as they have always been positioned as two sides of the same coin. (although earlier in the series it seemed that Locke and Jack were the "opposites" Locke: Man of faith, jack:Man of science).

Where does Kate fit in all of this?

Also I personally found it humorous seeing Richard run around acting all freaked out after multiple seasons of him being unflappable on that crazy island.

Another great episode. I am still trying to figure how Locke (the real one) plays in to all of this. He seems to be the center of gravity for all the relationships in the new timeline...but truly dead back on the island. My big assumption is the two timelines have to relate somehow.

The numbers on the wall just made my brain turn to goo....I have no idea?! Can't trust anything that comes out of smokies/locke's mouth.

LOL! What I find funny is this: they say the island has a sickness and the proof is:
- Dannielle whose party was attacked by smokie, on a presumably deserted island, folks trying to kill her, Ben stealing her baby, etc, etc...
- Claire who was at a very minimum distracted by smokie or maybe unconscious and then her baby went missing presumably stolen, and folks trying to kill her

Now I'm not saying the island doesn't have a sickness, but their examples seem to be more likely overwhelmed with a combo of maternal instinct for their children and self preservation.
