When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Although I am not a big fan of tabs, they do have a purpose.
Does anyone know how I can create/post/share my bass tabs for Dead tunes?
To say Phil's playing is quirky is an understatement, but there are some basic lines to use that I'd like to share as "jumping off" points to help further the legacy of the tunes.
Any help for instuctions to create and post bass tabs would be helpful.
Thank you,
Grateful Dad

The few tabs I've created, I just type out as text, either here in the text editor or in Word.

Like this G major scale I wrote out for one of my coworkers:

G-string---------------------------------------------------0-------
D-string---------------------------------0----2----4--------------
A-string----------------0----2----3-------------------------------
E-string----------3------------------------------------------------

(I added the string names because she got her very first bass this week)

I've tried an online tab editor or two, and found them to be designed for somebody with more patience than I have. :D

Just use create them in word and post tabs by song into the respective forum with the CODE functionality by them to ensure the display properly

Good point, S6. Spaces in particular don't display properly - you could punch in 50 spaces and it comes out looking like just one.

Wait, let me check:

one space

fifty spaces

Code: Select all
one space

fifty spaces

Yep.
