Very nice Tiger, I was looking at his site again I think for the money these are getting better. Its high priced for the charity auction. There was a Wolf last time.

It is telling, though, what the guitar shop did to it after Gawenda delivered it ...

"In addition, after receiving the guitar, the Master Luthiers at Third Coast Guitar Service in Chicago did the final finishing work. That included:
* Seating, sealing, leveling and dressing the frets. The Frets are amazing!
* The Neck Profile was hand-carved to be similar to the PRS Standard Carve - NO BASEBALL BAT NECK HERE (Addressing a common complaint about Philipp's's guitars)
* Re-installing the GRAPH-TECH NUT, SHAPING IT TO PERFECTION.
* Installing ALL of the electronics using the finest components - no cheap Korean/Chinese parts. CTS POTS, CRL 5-WAY SWITCH. SPRAGUE ORANGE DROP CAPS, TEFLON COATED SILVER WIRING and the Cutler Designed EFFECTS LOOP - EXACTLY AS JERRY HAD IT IN HIS GUITARS.
There are a few flaws in the finish but we liked that it gives the guitar more of a vintage vibe.
We are also including SPERZEL LOCKING TUNERS and a NEW TIGER INLAY, as the Current inlay has a minute crack in it - see the pictures. If you don't like PLANET WAVES LOCKING TUNERS, just swap them out with the SPERZELS. If you want a different inlay instead of the TIGER - We will provide it to you at no cost, via Philipp Gawenda."

... you buy and wait for one of these guitars, you don't want to be frustrated with the neck carve, the fret work, bad electronics, bad nut, cracked inlays ... and flaws in the finish.

Ask me how I know, after paying Brawer to correctly locate the bridge on my Resurrection.
