I have only heard great things about Fargen's amps. Never tried one though.

RI's may sound ok with some tweaks and break-in time, but they definitely do NOT possess the glory and warmth and 3-dimensionality of the real deal. And from a long term service and tech point of view, they really do SUCK to work on. Why pay for a RI, when you can find the real thing for the same or less money. I'd rather have an ulgy and worn real Fender than a fake pretty one.
