Hello all,

I've just registered after stumbling in here a short while ago.

I've been a Deadhead since 1st seeing them on the original broadcast of "A Night At The Family Dog" back in 1971-72. My 1st show was in Providence in 1973.

I live in Rhode Island and I've been playing guitar for about 40 year or so, bass since about 1985.

Jeff Martinson has allowed me to fill in on bass with his "Legion Of Jerry" and just recently with his band "Shakedown". Thanks Jeff...MUCH FUN. I've also had the great fortune to fill in on bass with "Big Rhythm Wine" .. Thanks Mike!!

I have my own band called "The MillRats" in which I sing and play guitar. I also play in a local Dead band called "Loose Change" (again guitar and vocals) and a classic rock type of band called "Jade" (Guitar, vocals).

I have a CD out with my best buddy and "brother from another mother" Richard Sage. It's called "Sage Advice".

My gear consists of: Fender 52RI Telecaster, Fender MIM 50's Classic Telecaster, Warmoth homebrew Telecaster Thinline, Epi Les Paul Custom. Epi LP Special II, Martin D28, Squire Classic Vibes 50's P-Bass, Fender HR Deluxe (Emi Red-Wht-Blues), Fender Blonde Blues Junior (Cannabis Rex)

I am also registered on the TDPRI as "Fret Wilkes"

Whew...that's about it! Great site and I'm looking forward to chatting a bit!

I'm a little slow on the uptake. I just found RUKIND recently.

Are you guys coming back to The Mill anytime soon? I ran into Paul's wife there and she said she wanted me to mix you guys again and said something about a possible Sunday. Maybe just small talk, dunno, but I'd love to mix you guys again, you killed in there last time and your "Lembic" sounded incredible.

All this talk on here about Jerry gear..FUN. Remember that rig I had back in 1979 or 1980 with the IVP Preamp, Furman Reverb and Crown D150A and the 2 JBLs? That was a cool rig if a bit of a pain in the arse.

Anyway I hope I see you soon one way or the other!

Not sure what is going on at the moment, Paul and Carleen have been away and have just gotten back. Always look foward to The Mill, you know that.
Guys, Fred also knows his way aroud a mixer and does a great mix, just one of his many talents. That old rig... I still swear had the greatest sound.
