When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Hey everybody. Its been a long year with lots of changes. My rig being the latest.(pics soon to come)
First, my old rig was:
Lefty Fender Strat (2) Super II's, (1) SDS-1(OBEL, UGB)-->Joe Martin Modded Fender Twin in a Baltic Birch Head--> 2 x 12 Hard Truckers style 2 x 12 loaded with E-120's.(used to have K's)

GCX Switcher had the following loops
#1-Qtron #2- Analogman TS-9 #3-Boss OC-2 #4- ADA 2fx #5-MXR Phase 90
#6- Boss Turbo Dist #7-Analogman TS-9 #8-MXR Dist +

I ran a true bypass Wah and Volume pedal in my guitar-amp chain.

I sold everything besides the guitar and cabinet.(ADA and GCX still available!)

My new rig is:
Lefty Carvin DC200. Phase/out of phase, coil taps on (2) Carvin Humbuckers. Active/passive pull knob---> Fractal Axe Fx------>FOH

I run a second out to a Mackie powered speaker which I use for my monitor.

Right now on my midi floor controller, i have the following programmed in:
Changeable CC's are:
Drive
delay
phase
pitch
compr

Patch 1:
Jerry base
guitar-->MXR dist +-->EQ-->Blackface sim-->PEQ-->Delay-->phaser-->2 x 12 E120 cabsim
I run my reverb in parellel to get a nice dry/wet mix
Toggle effects in and out as needed

Patch 2:
Jerry Q
Base Jerry components with a real good sim of the Mutron III( Thanks Vic)

Patch 3:
Trey early
guitar-->Keeley based Comp-->TS-808 mod drive-->PEQ-->Mesa Mark III sim-->EQ--->ts-808 mod drive-->pitch-->Vibe-->4 x 12 brit cab

Patch #4
Trey later
guitar-->Tweed(Deluxe Reverb model)-->EQ-->ts-808-->EQ-->ts-808-->EQ-->rotary-->vibe-->4 X 12 brit cab

Patch #5
High Peaks Rythym:
Compr-->PEQ--> MXR Dist +-->EQ-->Vox AC30 treble boost--->Brit 4 x 12

Patch #6
Haynes
Soldano. drive--nails it. Soulshine sounds better than ever.

At outdoor and larger events I still run my 2 x 12 E120 cab through a Crown power amp. Sounds good. For me it was a choice based on money, versatility, and transportability. By selling all the other stuff, I actually have more options tonally with the Axe for less money.

I will say this. Being a Vintage Fender buff, I do miss the old buggers!!!. Something about them that can never be copied perfectly. Close, but not all the way.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Not even 1 amp left?

Not 1 amp left. Can't justify it right now.

The rythym player in my band has a Fender Twin that we use for backup. He's nice enough to let me use it as a backup for now too.

In the future I will probably pick up a small combo (1 x 12) and load it with a JBL or Celestion.

It'll probably be a Mesa. Or a Deluxe. But thats a ways off now.

Hey Peaks...Did you ever get in touch with Joe Martin about the mods he did to your amp?

I picked up a MC2100 and need to know if it's been preamped via the vibrato side or if I need to take it to me amp guy and have that done?

Thanks brother...
