So the wife threw on her favorite christmas disc, The Persuasions You're All I Want For Christmas... Folks on the East Coast should know them, they've appeared a few times with Ratdog over the past 10 years... They first got on the bus opening for Jerry back in the 70's. They have told a humorous story about their first time opening where people where throwing joints up on stage to them and they did NOT know what to do about that.
But my question is this... What was the date of the show that they opened for Ratdog @ The Palladium in Worcester, MA?
Don't bother checking Ratdog.org, the show is NOT listed as there... Ratdog never played that night! Anyone that was there would remember this as the night the Palladium nearly burned down. A fire started in a closet where there was paint stored, an employee had put out a cigarette in a paint bucket, it caught fire and the fire engulfed one entire hallway between the foyer and the lower seating area. The place was evacuated and Ratdog never took the stage that night.
I think the date was 11/13 or 11/16/2000...
