I love this birdsong (Awesome Bobby jazz licks!), and I've always been curious. You hear something burn up and go zzzzzzzzZzZZAP a couple of times during the song... I'd guess it was a poweramp but it should be a straight SBD recording. Maybe it was the preamp on a couple of channels on the board?

No... they're not as present in the circulated SBD copy.. The DP is remastered a lot hotter.
1st two occur @ 0:18 and 3:00... The one at the 3 minute mark is the entire left channel of the recording and not one specific source. Probably a master reel glitch.

So glad I collected some of these shows before they became Releases... they need to quit doing that!
