He has been playing with a Barry Mitterhoff a mandolin player and also sometimes with David Bromberg. Not sure who he was with at the Keswick.

thanks. yeah, it looks like mitterhoff was with him. still can't figure out who the other guitarist was tho (probably the most dominant lead). looked like the guy that played lead for the SNL band for years.

surprising it's not listed somewhere...

peace out,

terry

Saw them last night at The Beacon Theatre, NYC. You guessed it, G.E. Smith of SNL fame. Very strong skills, primarily a session player, did a great job last night. He gives weekend lessons at Jorma's Fur Peace Ranch

This would be him also in his pervioous life as the lead guitar player for Hall and Oates in their heyday -playing the big Gibson. He actually is an EXCELLENT player- tight and clean.

Casady is only a part-time member of Moonalice, however G.E., Pete Sears, Barry Sless, and drummer Jimmy Sanchez (formerly of the proto- GD tribute, Jerry's Kids) are all FT members.

More importantly , I can confirm that GE had a Mutron III in his effect loop when he was here with MoonAlice (I think he was using a Ground-Control).

Pete, if that was the NRPS-opener we saw together, I saw a Phasor I in G.E.'s pedal board but don't remember an M3. I do remember Barry having the Mini Q-Tron...
