I just put a deposit down on this little beauty! a real pretty guitar. it is a solid body sorta. what i mean is that the inside is chambered for nice woody tones and lighter weight.

one could assume such , it has taken me a while to be comfortable enough with my playing to buy a guitar so close to the languedoc guitar. i of course would like the real deal, but... . when i saw david's first wave line of guitars a couple years ago, i started to check back every once in a while. im glad i did, he updates at least 3 times a month. i really like the mini hollow trey models but $2750 is a little more than i can spend right now, though for a languedoc type guitar very reasonable. i like the chambered semi hollows like the one i bought and some of the others. they have languedoc type features, but are a bit more... i don't know different. anyway, i will post pics when she arrives.

Very cool looking guitars! I like how they are more inspired by Languadocs than direct clones. Or maybe I just don't know enough about Lang's!

Very cool! It'd be interesting to directly compare the chambered and full-hollow guitars. I know Roger Sadowsky, who made my J-bass, chambered a few of his solid basses for weight and found them to sound better than the solid versions.

Either way, those look really cool! I agree, they instantly make you think of a Languedoc but are a bit unique on their own. Very well done from the looks of them!
