hi everyone,
i have a friend that lives up here in new york, actually here in hamburg, he is a little bit of an odd ball one could say, but he has started his own business building lap steel guitars and speaker cabinets. i actually just bought a speaker cab from him for $300 empty, i put speakers in it and it sounded great. i don't know if anyone here on the board is building and selling custom speaker cabinets or even lap steel guitars, but i thought i might let you all know. he told me he posted here before a time or two his name is zenbumspeakers. i will post some pictures of my speaker soon and hopefully he will have a little site set up that you can go to and see his work. i was blown away by how cool some of the designs he has are, there are actually a few that incorrporate a rack built in to the speaker so you can just pack up one thing and your guitar. like i said he hasnt got a site yet but he is finishing it up. i hope this doesn't seem like too much of an ad or anything, i just wanted to let you know that he is out there with some cool stuff lined up.
