Not really Dead-related, but thanks to their guitar player/my best friend being on a mountain biking weekend in Tahoe and their bass player being on tour in Japan, a good chunk of The Road (me, bass & percussion) is sitting in with Judge Smith from 3-3:45 on the Homegrown/Americana Stage in Alexandria, VA this Saturday. Some great originals, some new takes on classic rock and a woman who has a voice like nothing you've heard. Their drummer is Tom Principato's main guy and a monster player.

Might even sneak in a Bertha...
