Check out this sweet jam session from Weirs house.

Choose Track 10 and at roughly the 12:20 mark Garcia switches something on that most resembles an MXR Distortion plus to my ears since I use one frequently. Ideas?

The whole session is sweet with everyone blending in. Great drum seperation on the stereo channels between Hart and Kreutzman.

just killer in the headphones. Cool perspective in the mix. That sounds like an MXR Dist+ to me. Seems like Jerry was really using the guitar's tone knob for darkening his tone during the early section and even with the dirt on.
