"MUTRON 3 1974 , maybe earlier?? UNUSED 35 YEARS OLD
not sure of the exact date but looking at the serial #07038
its one of the 1st series !! ITS NEW ! never USED !! I tested it and thats it !! Never used !!!"

I'm wondering if the electronics still work.

I've heard many times in discussing vintage amps that caps and resistors need to be used periodically or they go bad.

Anyone else hear this?

I think that makes this a risky purchase...even though I paused to think about having a new mutron III.
