I just saw some pics of Jerrys rig from Oakland this day and his Trucker cab only had 2 speakers in it and he was using 2 MC2300 and there was what looked like an ART preamp. Does anyone know what preamp or effects he was using I can see, Korg M1r,Roland GR50<Proteus> and what looks like some Lexicons, maybe even the Digital delay from TC electronics. any help would be great!

All pics I have seen from '91 (both GD and JGB) show JG using a 2x12, summer and fall at least. How do you ID the cab as a "Trucker"? The HT brand had long been defunct by this time.

Well Im not saying it was an actual trucker cab as we know them now of course, but it is a upright 3X12 wood cab in black. there is a great pic of it on Flickr. The main thing is that this is post Twin and pre Trio so I just was wondering what was in between!

well if your serious he has Black machined clips just like ususal 4 to a speaker! If your not serious that was pretty funny!

I did and no GD stuff turned up. Can you post the pic? Here is Deer Creek '91 w/ Twins in evidence.

dang. you are right, unless the Twins were offstage for some reason. Is this a soundcheck shot? Normally you wouldn't see Jerry's guitar on a stand; he would walk onstage with it.

That's probably correct.

However, I cannot reconcile a few things:
- Jerry's rig is all lit up and mic'd
- I cannot imagine Jerry's guitar just on a stand pre-show when they'll be wheeling in another rack of Twin heads

Of course the most likely is that this was just taken at an odd time in an odd situation like a hot or cold venue and letting the guitar get acclimated and doing initial rack checks.

The pic is from Oakland so it was indoors and if you look closely you can see another road case off to the right of the speaker cab and there is a green LED on this could be the twins, However it sure looks like a ART preamp and Ive never heard of him using that and I saw alot of shows in 91 but not these.

Saw every show of this run BUT this one (the 1st night), however I was not much of a gearhead at the time, nor did I get close to the stage any night. Got somewhat close at GG Park 11/3 (like 100 ft away center), but again...
