From last night ... Tennessee Jed ... guitar straight from AxeFX to the board.
I fattened it up some in the midrange, changed the virtual speakers to E120s from the K110s, now maybe just a little more drive-dirt to it and low mids ... should also point out that this is my 85 Strat with the Garcia electronics, not even a hard tail. I think the Tiger with Waldo's buffer would sound even fatter.
Interestingly, using more reverb than you think you need hearing it over the monitors sounds just about right on the board. You can hear the digital "springs" chirping in the simulation.
I didn't do anything to the straight guitar signal on mixdown, this is just as it was recorded pre-fader.
