So on craigslist there was an add up for a Dual showman reverb from late 60's. I emailed the guy and asked abou how much he said 400$ but he also said that the reverb and tremolo needs to be rehooked up because the previous owner took it off and removed the jack. Do you think it's worth the repairs? Or should I try to get the price lowered?

I think maybe he already reduced the price with that in mind. Those amps will go for around $700ish (for the head), give or take.

I say it's probably worth it, but you should see if you can get a quote or two for the anticipated work.

Hell yeah, I would be all over that. reconnecting the reverb probably won't be that hard. Is that price just for the head or for the cab too?

The 400 Is just for the head. 900 Is for both. He said he's in europe till the end of august so he will hold on to it for me.
Yea I was just making sure that the price seemed right. Why would someone remove the the reverb when they have the Dual Showman.

Looks like a 70 or 71. (No "drip edge" like a 68 or 69)
