Hi this may be a daft question but............

I have been playing acoustic now for a while and using a Marshall AS50D combo.

Recently I was given an Epiphone SG and after conflicting advice about if I can use it through the Marshall am a bit unsure if this is ok?

Could any 'kind' soul let me know if any damage will be done to the combo if I use the SG with it?

You'll be fine. It may not sound that great given it is voiced for an acoustic. But as a practice amp for home use it will be ok. But if you start cranking it up with a distortion pedal, the 8in speakers may not like it very much.
