Just have to say how much I love this site. My wife and kids went away for a few days and when they leave the house for any reason I usually crank up the amps and play.

Tonight we had a real bad storm and the power was blinking on an off so I unplugged my amps because I didnt want to fry them with surge. I usually have 2 amps going at once. On one I play backing tracks through a looper and the other is what I play the guitar though.

It was so bad I unplugged the computer from the wall as well. Even though I have a battery back up surge protector, I have fried a few of those. (it can get bad here in south Florida)

So I popped open the laptop, put in the satellite card, broke out the acoustic and I am having a grand old time. I have just been going through the song tabs. There are so many songs that I just dont have memorized so I have been sitting here playing and singing away. I am a really lousy singer but I am alone so who cares!

What a great site and great resource. So if no one has said it in a while, let me. THANK YOU everyone who works on the site, admins, moderators and all who share all tabs, and musical tips etc. GREAT JOB!

Love it too! When asked, above, who makes this site happen I see 2 distinct:
1 - Ed for alot of the tab with help I'm sure along the way
2 - the rest of us here on the forum!!

It's a source of pride 'n joy for me when a few things happen

1) These types of threads....I don't always respond, but I read them all.
2) There's been a few times when I have been at open mic nights and I'll see someone using my tabs. They just know me as "Ed".
3) I have an old buddy who I just recently hooked up with on facebook. He said this:

All of my open mic contacts are jealous that I actually know Ed Bick from Ed Bick's Tab Archives. Everyone has your tabs!! It is a neverending source of pride that you are my friend and it usually leads to a great rendition of Franklins Tower or Bird Song.

So, yer welcome, and continue to enjoy and be cool, and teach (I learn lots too).

I really like this site alot too. Thanks to the Tabs, and the friendly videos and conversations here my guitar playing has gone from a D- to a C+ !!
Even if I didn't play guitar though, the folks are really cool here, and the Vibe is always just what I would expect from a group of Deadheads. Peace-Out!!
