Need your help here guys, I have a Twin reissue plugged it in today and i get nothing. It's not getting any power at all. I checked all the basics so far and still getting nothing at all. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Is the amp plugged into a switched outlet that could possibly be off?

Is the speaker plugged into the output?

Have you tried a different guitar, just to eliminate the guitar as the problem?

ETA: oh, no power at all. nevermind...

Any possibility that the power source is faulty? Bad outlet, or tripped breaker?

I *HATE* the RI's. I tried 5 or 6 TRRIs all of them were faulty.

But you already own one one so I'll suggest:
1 - check all your cables
2 - check the fuse
3 - ensure all your tubes are seated
4 - ensure your speaker and reverb cables are all connected

If not these, it would be best to take it to a tech for this issue and a quick inspection.

It seems like once a month someone is having issues with the re-issues !
I think my " cure " for this prob will be to save up some bread and get a Jonarob type deal .....might as well get an old amp you can trust ...
I'm completely soured on the Twin R.I. since all these probs people are having.

But you already own one one so I'll suggest:
1 - check all your cables
2 - check the fuse
3 - ensure all your tubes are seated
4 - ensure your speaker and reverb cables are all connected

If not these, it would be best to take it to a tech for this issue and a quick inspection.

That's if you assume, "It's not getting any power at all" means that the power tubes are not getting any power.

Enough time on teh interwebz has taught me that could mean speaker not getting any power at all... Stupid pronouns.

Tell us, Justin, is the pilot light lighting up when you turn it on?If so are the tubes glowing? If so, are all the tubes glowing?

I know on my non-RI, the pilot light still comes on with a blown fuse... Just no power.

I'm getting no power to the amp at all. No pilot light, tubes not glowing/warming up i mean nothing at all. I took the fuse to radio shack yesterday and they checked it for me said it was fine so i have no idea. Played the amp for around an hour last friday everything was ok went to play on Sunday and nothing. It still has the 5 year warranty so i'm taking it the the dealer where i got it hoping it can be fixed. This is the second problem i have had with this amp and only have had it for 2 years. Thing might be on it's way out possibly replace it with a nice vintage which i should have done in the first place. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the clarification. Did you try plugging it in to a different outlet?

When I was young I made that mistake. And then repeated it many more times over the years.

Now, incidentally, I have my rehearsal light on the same strip as the rig! Simple & effective solution! HA!
