I picked up an all-original '62 Silvertone 1474 and had it rehab'd. It's a 2x12 with Jensen P12Q's. It sounds GREAT with my late 70's Ibanez Weir rig!!

Questions:
- what Fender amp would this be most like?
- can I add a speaker out jack and drive an external cab simultaneously with the internal speakers?

Mike, IIRC the Slivertones were "affordable" amps back in the day so first thought would be to worry about a perfectly sized OT vs. Fenders which were usually safe to mismatch 1 up or down.

But looking deeper...
5U4 rectifier
2 12ax7 as the preamp
1 12ax7 for the reverb
6UA6 running the tremolo (no roach, no power tube bias)
6CG7 phase inverter
4 6L6Gs. But they split those so 2 goto each speaker of the 2x12

As far as similar amps?! Geez. Gonna be tough. It's built similar to older fenders:

I honestly think they are just too unique to compare...
