been looking for a new acoustic, specifically one with an om body. and this one pretty much meets all the specs I want and the equivalent martin is well above 2k. guitar center says they can order this for me, and I can return it if I dont like it, but Im wondering if I should go through the trouble. I played some different model Breedloves earlier today, and I gotta admit I wasnt blown away, they seemed a bit quiet, but that could be due to them being utterly raped by everyone on the guitar center showroom

I am an authorized Breedlove dealer and have played one. Although this is a nice guitar, it wont be nearly as nice as the 2K equivalent martin. That being said, it is a very nice Korean guitar with good tone and will play well. It will be as nice or nicer probably then an equally priced martin or taylor.

There are a lot of choice when it comes to different breedloves. I assume since you are looking to get that from GC you are in the $1000 price range. For not much more you can get a Roots series OM/SR which is much much nicer and is american made with lifetime warranty. It also has the volume and tone controls in the soundhole.

If you want to talk more about them private message me and I'll give you my phone number, email, website etc. Either way you go I can save you a ton of money or at least give you some Breedlove guidance. I dont really want to do sales stuff through this thread.

Yeah i have seen the roots series om model, the thing i dont like about it is i prefer the 1 11/16 in fretboard, which unfortunately the roots model lacks ( i would have bought it already if it did) i think my price limit is about 2k

Have you looked at any Alvarez Yiari models?

The Roots has a 1 3/4 which is 12/16th. But now that I know you are in the $2k range. Why not custom build a Revival series?

Dont get scared at the $3k to $4k price tag. I can build you one in your price range. I wont make much but it will still help me meet my quota with Breedlove I'll make a little and you will get an incredible instrument. The Revival series are all custom hand built in Oregon.
