I loved their acoustic phases. And they pretty much started the whole "unplugged" chapter that MTV and many contributing bands such as Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, KISS, etc, etc participated in. Might never have happened if the Dead did not initiate. Reconning

friend of the devil live 1980...nuff said. by the way, i seen a video of some guy covering friend of the devil by himself. he was playing that G major run as well as the chords in time it sounded pretty sweet, he didnt sing like jerry but hey, you gotta give the guy credit for doin it.
