I have a Stratocaster that has someting sliding around inside of it slightly. When I pick up the guitar and rotate it around I can hear someting slightly moving around inside. Is this normal?

no. remove the pick guard next time you change strings and see what it is.

I will do that...I just have to remove the tone knobs and unscrew all the screws except the p/u adjust screws right? Anything else? Thanks.

You don't have to do anything but remove the screws that run around the edge of the pick guard. it may not lift out very far, due to the wires to switches, pots, and PUs, but you should still be able to see in there. Be careful not to pinch any wires when you put it back in.

Gotcha. I just changed the strings yesterday, so I'm not going to jump on this right away. I didn't want to mess with it, because I have a bad habit of messing stuff up. I'll pop the thing off though, thanks Emoto, what do you think it could be? It was like that since I bought it. It would be tough to notice unless you turn the guitar over and such. I never gave it much thought. But yesterday it started bugging me. Peace out.

Hard to say. Probably just some little piece of trash of some kind.

Oh man! Thanx for that. That brings back some recollections. Did anyone notice if that was a left handed monkey wrench or not?
