As in the magazine; The Golden Road, that Blair Jackson put out. I was just reading through and remembering how much I enjoyed the issues! I don't have them all, but am only missing about 3 of them. For those unfamiliar, these were the real meal deal! Do any of you have them? Read them? Thoughts?

I never got The Golden Roads much but did always get Dupree's Diamond News, Relix of course and Unbroken Chain. Most folks never heard much about UC but it was really good--maybe the best towards the end. I was published in it once in letters to the editor after the Deer Creek debacle....prolly fall of 95. I know I still have all my old GD based mags and it is pretty cool to go back and check em out. Some rather interesting stuff in those old rags.

FWIW, Relix had clearly morphed into I'm not sure what after Jerry passed. They were giving subscriptions away a couple years ago. Lost interest when they started putting bands like OAR on the cover.
I heard they lost their asses in that Madoff scandal and are basically bankrupt. Only what I heard, haven't seen that in print to confirm.
