also, it is very clear to me that warren haynes loves playing with the boys.

I watched it. Bob has gotten some belly on him now! I enjoyed seeing. I was surprised to hear FOTD but I liked it. I still cant get over Phil's bass. It looked out of place with 2 guys playing acoustic! I wonder how much that thing weighs?

Phil's phrasing is exactly the same as Hunter's when he sings that verse.

Sounded great. Especially encouraged by Warren's voice... had much the same timbre as Jerry's. Hope they let him sing more Jerry parts...

I recorded it and ff'd to when they came out. Warren has one of the best voices in the industry and he sounded great. It seemed Bobby screwed up the lyrics in the 3rd verse LOL. Kinda brought a tear to my eye thinking of old shows when Jerry was still around. I'm so glad the FOTD wasn't one of those 90's really slow versions. All in all, I support them and enjoyed the song.

yes he came in a little later on the "first ones named sweet anne marie" than i've heard in american beauty and other acoustic versions. it seemed *slightly* awkward. not a big deal of course, as the song came out fantastic nontheless, even with hunter/lesh phrasing on the last verse

Sorry if I offended by picking out these details... just trying to say it like it is... none of what I said was meant to take away from the awesomeness of the overall performance.
