Well, these types of threads are always good to stir up trouble and piss people off. So why not?

They have to be officially released on studio albums

1. Dancing in the Streets (disco version)
2. Blow Away (sorry Brent)
3. France (ugh!)
4. Let Me Sing Your Blues Away (sorry Keith)
5. What's Become of the Baby (just didn't work)
6. Victim or the Crime (because they seemed to play it every show I went to after 89.)
7. Picasso Moon (oo-ee)
8. West LA Fadeaway (from the ultimate SF band!)
9. Money Money (let's alienate half our fans, shall we?)
10. Blues for Allah (a poor man's Dark Star with none of the flair)

Let the indignation commence!

When I think of less desired Dead tunes my brain splits in half.

One part thinks of tunes I skip over on disc.

The other part thinks of tunes I'd hit the head with at a show.

That said I always skip Dancin til about 5 mins in when the jam progresses and I think I'd love it at a show if done right.

Picasso moon had so many cats hootin' and hollerin' in 94 Chicago as an opener that song seems magical to me for that reason!

Songs I can probably live without ever hearing the dead do...
Revolutionary hamstrung blues
Revolution
WBOTB
I fought the law
Don't need love
Shit happens
Little star (bob star)
Wave to the wind
Tons of steel
Desoloation row - does it ever end?!
Tom Thumb
Visions of Johanna - most beautiful song Jerry can sing. But I've only heard great once. the rest were painful.

"I Need A Miracle"- RS just reposted a 70's review of that album and said Miracle is like a Englebert Humperdink reject..I agree.

I Fought the Law
Any Vince tune

Dupree's...never got why people love this tune
Queen Jane...never connected with me

Money, Money...the worst
Bobby's insisting on doing a fucking Chuck Berry cover at just about every show...come on.
Any Phil tune other than the studio version of Box and Unbroken Chain.
Day Slob

Attics...The lyrics are so hippy dippy they remind me of that beatnik singing in "Animal House", "I gave my love a chicken, that had no bone".
More to come...

FWIW, Blow Away, Desolation, West LA, Victim, and Disco Dancin' all kick ass!

Did I just hear a Deadhead say "does it ever end" ???

Desolation Row is one of the BEST songs Dylan ever wrote IMO. I've Always thought of Tom Thumb as kind of a joke just because phil sang it, but still a great song. And Visions of Johanna? really?

songs i could live with out:
From The Heart Of Me
France

can't think of anything else.

Yup, you heard it hear first, folks. That's where I would get off the bus and stretch out and chill before getting back on...

Visions is a masterpiece and beautiful when played and sang well. Not sure besides 1 version can I say that both are true...

I'm having a brain fart at the moment. WTF is WBOTB?..What's become of the baby. Nevermind.

Tennessee Jed...I know, I'm a heretic but the repeating riff after every frickin' line just grows old after a while and gets on my nerves. I've only heard a couple versions that were exceptional. One was from '79 I think, (wish I could remember the date) Jerry just goes off and does a ripping solo.

A complete waste of vinyl on an otherwise outstanding album.

the only "I fought the law" I enjoyed was the encore in Vegas. Some guy was very intent on getting Bobby some sort of manifesto, and decided to do it during this song. The irony of him being dragged off the stage made the song more enjoyable.

Long way to go home
wave to the wind
Corrina
Wang Dang Doodle
Picasso Moon
Samba in the rain
I fought the law

They have to be officially released on studio albums
So, the ten least good songs released as Grateful Dead, not live. Despite listing these as my "worst", I'd listen to most of these before about 87% of current rock. Here we go:

All 9 tracks on Built To Last ( for being ultra-sterile ) + Antwerp's Placebo (for being 38 seconds long).
:D
