Introduce Yourself First! We think of each other as being part of a community, and want to know who you are. Use this as an opportunity to honestly represent yourself and why you are here. Be Respectful of others when posting: There is a lot of leeway of what is acceptable here, but, your point should be able to be made without humiliating, hateful words, witch-hunts, ganging up, bullying, name calling, threats, or violence. (The types of things that you wouldn't find acceptable at a Dead Show.) Be Kind: a good rule of thumb when interacting on this site is to ask yourself: are you kind?
JFC! That is tragic...Bob Weir will share his secret for making Easter cupcakes then Phil and Warren will dress up in Sumo suits and go 2 out of 3 falls. The show ends with the boys and Barbara Walters doing a sweet acoustic version of "Althea".
It all rolls into one and nothing comes for free
There's nothing you can hold for very long
And when you hear that song come crying like the wind
It seems like all this life was just a dream
I think its great, If this is what they have to do to sell tickets and tour good for them. Those guys work so hard to bring us the music we love, if we had all bought tickets to all the shows all the seats they wouldn't have to do this, but we sit and gripe about cost and guitarists, so now these poor bastards have to go on the view to make a decent living. I thought I had it bad. At least Whoopi won't be only one on stage to have tried hard drugs!
a99 - most shows i see were either sold out or close to it. i can't really see them needing to reach out to the stay at home moms and retiree's to try and fill seats.
At 9 am anyone interested in the dead would likely be:
1 - at work
2 - running late to class
3 - still asleep
4 - watching cartoon network after a wake n bake.
I heard the old hens with their dried up snatches were talkin' vibrators the other day,(shudder).
Maybe Bobby can get them wet and all hot and bothered regailing them with his tales of male prowess on the road in the seventies. Phil will once again inform us to donate our body parts.
Monday night, 3/30, at the Roseland Ballroom, yee-ha! Just got my confirmation from GD Tickets that I got picked in the lottery. Last time I was at the Roseland for anything Dead related was Garcia in 83'.
