For ballpark Garcia/Mutron tones, run your guitar signal first into the compressor, afterwards into the Tron Up.

IMPORTANT: The compressor is set for single coils (my own Tele, to be precise). Start your experimentation with the Tron Up setting as shown and, at least at the outset, leave it alone - don't mess around with it until after you're happy with your compressor levels.

The compressor is the key. You can set the dirt (drive) as you like (start off with what's shown) but you've got to adjust the comp and output levels to match your own PUPs. Again - as always with the M13 (or any other 'box, for that matter) - start with what your pal's sharing and then season to taste.

OMG that is great! I stopped trying to get the phaser to sound like my ph450 but instead just a good phaser and wow, huge diff!

Also, I am so far perfectly content with just 1 little scene. Here is my setup:

I just played my first gig with my new M13, all the regular fans came up to me and asked, "Where's all your pedals?!?" SO nice to have one unit for all of them! I'm playing in a Grateful Dead/Pink Floyd cover/tribute band, and all the pedals it took to get all those sounds required a custom pedalboard and it was a back-breaker, literally! The Wah during Shakedown was a little over the top, so I'm anxious to throw the compressor in front of it to see if I can tone it down a bit.
